I like the PSD - just as years ago, I liked the Ford 351 Cleveland gasser engine.
But the PSD suffers from one problem that is exactly like the Cleveland engine - they'll both go fast, but require a HELL of a lot more money to build than their competition.
For a fraction of the price I would have had to spend on a Cleveland, an old Chevy mouse motor will fly.
For a fraction of what you will have to put into the PSD to get it to perform the way you want, you could put a Cummins in it.
Sorry. That is just the way it is. I wish it wasn't. But one tiny example - for the price of ONE PSD injector, you can buy a set of injectors for the 12valve Cummins (don't know about the 24-valvers) - and you need 8 of them!!
Oh, and the fastest pickup on earth (at Bonneville) is a Dodge Dakota with a Cummins engine. Last I looked, it went 228mph - unless that has since been broken.

has anyone heard of Psychostroker? it has every possible mod done to it. a sled puller. crew cab lifted white 350, with stacks through the bed, and sitting on swamper boggers. i have seen some awesome videos of it.

Heard of him?? Umm yea - half my harddrive is filled with truck pulling movies!! I have a huge fullsize pic on my wallpaper of Pysco blowing smoke like a locomotive, spooling up at the beginning of a pull!!
