Name that rear...

This the rear under my 1984 F-250. See Sig for more info.
I don't see any tags or anything stamped on the axle anywhere. It may be covered in rust or mud, but I can't find it...

Anyone know what this is?

Dana 60, Dana 70, etc...

Looks to be a D60. Take a wire brush and clean the webbing above the rear cover, I believe the right hand side but possibly the left. If it's a D60 it will have a "60" cast into the webbing.

the yellow circle should have the data tag between the two bolts, and the red circle has the "60" cast in it.

There is no tag on there and I can't see any numbers stamped into the housing anywhere. I must've gotten a freak axle where they forgot to stamp it or something...

The tags are sometimes missing since they're held on with the diff cover bolts. A lot of times people will pull the cover and forget to replace the tag when they reinstall it.
