So who watched the live Apprentice tonight?? Should "The Donald" have (A)hired both Rebecca and Randall?? (B) do you think Randall's response about "apprentice vs. apprenti" was a sign that he has a sence of insecurity about himself and that he even may be scared of Rebecca?? (C) Should he have fired Randall for even suggesting to get rid of someone who obviously could and would have been able to do the 'Jersey project??
Personally, I think in spite of what Randall said, Trump should have hired them both. But opinions are like......we all have one! So lets see and hear yours!!
a) No. The contest was to yield one and only one person to be hired.
b) Maybe. Managers have been known to "get rid" of people that they perceive as a threat to them.
c) No.
There was a point where I too was wondering if both would get hired but it really falls back on the objective of the contest (interview process) in that in the end it would be just one. Both were very bright people and I'm sure that she's going to go places.
b) it just goes to show you despite all his education he stil has a "me, me, me" attitude.
c) after Randall's comment, it would have been huge plubicity factor for the show to have fired Randall then hired Rebbeca on the spot.
Willie, I'm with you 100%, and I thought about halfway through the show that the Donald would be hiring both. Then, when each picked opposite projects and Trump said, "well, that makes my decision a lot easier," I thought the dual-apprentice thing was in the bag. Randall may be smart and highly-educated, but he certainly showed his insecurity last night. And I'm surprised Trump went along with it; he really should have hired both.
Can't vote on this... Didn't watch the show and never will...
Nothing real about reality TV. A buunch of producers pick the personality types that are going to create the optimum viewing audience... how real is that? What about the working stiff who has a family, spent the first 5 years of his professional life paying off college loans, working 16 hour days, struggling to make his/ her division make a profit and try to get noticed by upper management? Average looking people who wear off the rack clothes from Sears... that's real. Throw all the names into a hat and pick your contestants based on 'luck of the draw.' Of course, then it wouldn't be entertaining.

Same here -- the goal of the show was to bring on one person to learn from Trump himself. And if she was hired, there might not be enough of "Trump" to give enough attention to both Randall and Rebecca. Anyway, these people are all about me me me anyway I wonder how many things Trump owns that don't have the word "Trump" in their name.
Rebbeca is way better off. She probably has thousands of job offers already, and several are probably for more than the $150k a year that she would have gotten from Trump. Trumps and Randalls publicists probably logged some overtime last night.
Consider this, Trump fires people because they don't have a contingency plan.
Trump obviously didn't think Randall would throw Rebbeca under the bus like he did. He could have fired back with a; what do you know? Your just an apprentice. Shes hired.
America loves a happy ending. Trump was made a fool of.
