I have a 93 F150 4WD 5.8L W E4OD and I dont know what transfer case I have and I wanna know if I can twin stick it? Anyone know what the code or what it should be just fromt he year and such.
I will guess you cannot. Look on the transfer case and see where it connects to your in-cab shift arm. If there are two rails that move in and out of your tcase you might be able to twin stick it. I'm also going to guess you have a chain drive tcase and I haven't heard of twin sticking a chain drive.
You want an NP205. Prices all depend on where you find them and what condition they're in but $50-$300 is what they generally go for. Then you need to make some simple internal modifications and either build the shifters or buy them and viola, you're set. I don't know if they're used on any of the 80's trucks but the 70's 4x4's used them. Make sure you get a 205 and not a 203. You can also find them on ebay, it can just be a challenge finding one close to you. They weigh 150 pounds or so and will be expensive to ship if you have to. Just be sure you get a Ford unit. Chevy and Dodge used them too but they'll be for a passenger side front axle so they won't work.
Will it bolt up to a E4OD or am I going to need a new drive shaft and adapter plates and such
It will bolt up if you cut a notch in the adapter for the shift rails. You wont be ablr to run a front drive shaft with an e4od. The trans is to wide and the T-case dosent have enough offset for the front drive shaft. The front driveshaft will hit the corner of the trans. You could change to a stick but then your computer will freek out because it dosent see a trans. You could get a computer from a stick truck but are you sure you want to go to all this trouble just to get a twin stick?

Yep, it has to be a NP203 and youi have to carefully modify shifter rails too as well as add a custom shifter.
