what am I missing - besides traction??!?
2001 extend cab f250 ps longbed 4x4 - trail mark radials infalted to 65 psi per manufact specs -
if I am in wet grass on a small incline, or mud, gravel etc in 2wd I just sit there & spin - I have to switch to 4x4 to go - which kinda makes me feel stupid - I have this big truck, and cant even go up my small incline driveway (with the two right wheels in the grass - leaving the wife room so she doesnt hit my purty truck) with out spinning like a mad man - or putting it in 4wd -
do I need better tires? less inflation? I want to go ahead and put lockers on the rear - I iknow that will help - but thats $$ I dont have right now - in the mean time is this just a know issue, and I just need to be fast on the switch to 4wd high??

I have a similar truck and have also experienced this. I think the problem is that there isn't that much weight in the rear of the truck (compared to the engine sitting over the front axle). I bet if you were to have a load in the bed you wouldn't have this problem. That's why some of my friends keep a load of sandbags in the bed during the winter!

Hey, just and idea....Newtons laws of Physics
I think it was the conservation of energy.
Remember what ever you put in you bed is traveling at 60mph with you.
In an accident blocks, bricks, pipes, etc will still be traveling at 60 mph
after you impact and stop.
Lots of pain stored up in a pile of bicks.
Check that nothing can come crashing through the back of the cab and kill you.
I Don't want to be negative here, but just make sure the weight is secured.
