What size our your nuts? He-- of a way to start a thread

Omg aren't we getting a little personnel here? Shame, and don't even think about asking about other (truck) parts.

Forget the t wrench and buy a tire torque wrench and a long extension. These rotors are very easily warped if not torqued properly.

13/16 does't work well at all...Do not get it. I don't think you can get a 21 mm T wrench.

21MM for sure. 13/16 is just a tad tight. You can get a metric 4 way. I bought mine at advance auto parts. WHen I'm at home, I just use my air/impact gun.

Given the warning about improperly torqued nuts and rotor warping, is there any concern with too much torque when an air impact is used, or can I just tighten the suckers up and call it a day?

I usually just run them down with the impact until they first show resistance, then go to the torque wrench.

They sell torque sticks which goes on your impact gun and you dont have to mess with the torque wrench. They sell them in a pretty good range from like 60-120 or somthing like that.

I have yet to warp anyhting on the SD with an impact. I don't think its an issue with these trucks but many guys do. I tried driving around with half the nuts at 75 lbs ft and half at 150 lbs ft and I couldn't warp anything. I don't think that squeezing a thin piece of steel between the hub and wheel is gonna cause a warped rotor. You would have to warp the piece of metal that the studs screw into. Plus 99 % or brake pedal vibration is thickness variations in the rotor caused by heat and pad material.
