If your lucky, the guy dropping her off is a body (autobody) repairman! Solves it all! Congrat's on the belly kicker!

.... so anyways after noticing this guy and her I decided to confront the problem. I mean am I that bad of a guy. Do I not see our issues? I mean how bad can I be? I try to wash my baby atleast once a week. Maybe these problems just sneek up on us. I'll try to work things out and get some different wax and wheel polish. Thanks for all the help.

Always wash your baby well underneath, and often! Hand wash is the best. Turkey towel dry and stand back saying "look at them body lines" Top off with a wax job!

I am in a simular boat myself except my wife is the one getting upset.Because I am spending more time and money on my girlfriends. I realy enjoy thier company.I don't feel like I am being dragged down by neediness. The quality time is well spent with them and they will do anything I ask with out forgetting. I can ride them hard all day and they are still ready to go. I don't have to spend any cuddle time afterwards. God I love my trucks.

I love my 57 F-250, but it's definently not as important to me as my wife/gf is. I truly do love Brittany more then anything, and well, it's the best feeling in the world to love and be loved like this. She even loves my truck so we're all good.

Thats hilarious. I was totally goin' for it. With rust though, I like to strip it down to bare metal, prime, and re-paint. You can go to a body craft supply store (paint supply store for automotive professionals) and they can mix you a can of spray paint for your particular car color. Every time I've done it, it's worked great. I sand with 800 grit to take off the paint and rust, then 1200 grit to smooth it out. Next, clean the surface with laquer thinner (laquer thinner evaporates without leaving a residue) then you're ready to prime. Tape a long way away from where you are painting so as to avoid over spray. (a foot in each direction is good) and cover at least four feet beyond the tape line. Prime only what you need to, use even, straight strokes and overlap each line 50%. 2-3 coats of primer is good. next is your color coat, same even straight, overlapping strokes. enough coats to cover the primer. if you think you maybe don't have it covered, give it a couple more coats. each successive coat should be an inch or so bigger than the last. this will keep you from forming an edge. after that is your clear coat. clear coatis nasty stuff and just kind of hangs in the air, so don't expect it to be quite as easy to see the area you are painting as it was with the color coat. 3-4 coats is sufficient, stick with the straight, even, overlapping strokes again. i do 5-6 coats, because it gives me a little more cushion in the buffing stage. next you buff, i recommend (highly) a rotary buffer. doing this by hand will make you lose your mind. i use 3m perfect-it III compound to buff. Buff it until it has a high shine. don't wash it for about 3 weeks, don't wax it for 6 months. Oh, i nearly forgot about wait times. between the primer and color coat, read the can, but i wait 24 hours. between the color and the clear coat, wait about 30 minutes, and between the clear coat and the buffing, i wait a week. between each of the coats of the same stuff (primer, color, clear) i wait about 15 minutes. And for 1200 grit sanding and buffing, always wet, always wet. Get wetordry sandpaper and a squirt bottle of water. keep the area you are sanding or buffing wet. I even wet sand on the 800, but some people think that that is excessive. When you're finished, no one will be able to tell anything was ever wrong.

I posted this on my weBLOG on my "myspace.com" account. Here are the responses I got:

1) "Matt, you and your wife are having problems?"
2) "Matt, your new car is rusting out already?"
3) "Matt, that was hilarious"
4) "Matt, I don't get it."
5) "Matt, to get rid of the rust get a helmet, a ramp and a video camera and go out to a big field. That will take care of it."

HAHAHA!

-Matt
