Water Capacity
Can anyone tell me for sure how many quarts does my 1988 F-250 4.9 300 radiator has capacity for?
If I unplug the lower hose and let it all out, how much water will I have left in the engine? How much coolant should I pour in the system after the draining?
50/50 is what I've read but , How much coolant is 50????

50/50 means 50% water and 50% antifreeze.
My 1981 has a super cool radiator and it holds 14 quarts.
so if 100% = 14 quarts
50% = 7 quarts
50% water and 50% coolant or 7 quarts water and 7 quarts coolant.
