Another oil leak question

I have a pretty bad oil leak in the morning when the engine is cold. Once things warm up though it nearly stops. The best I can tell is that it is coming from the engine just below the exhaust manifold on the driverside. How can I put a stop to this?

Could be a loose or rusted oil filter or the oil cooler.

as stated above, i would venture to guess the oil cooler o rings are brittle after time, but then the coolant may come out too or oil in the radiator will show up. May also be a valve cover gasket. You would have to crawl underneath with a flash light and check out the position of the leak.

id say with under the manifold leak its the oil cooler o-rings
it will get bad real fast in a few days to a few weeks
been there & done that had to replace them

it has 4 o-rings in the cooler
i got mine o-rings at International dealer , the local parts supply dont carry them
if i remenber right they were $23
i rebuilt the oil cooler myself , if you do it your self
you need a press
a floor jack & steel workbench made a good press for me lol
also make sure you get the old gaskets off the block or it will leak
dont ask how i know that lol
