HELP! with stained wheels

I have the factory 10 hole aluminum wheels on my truck (the wheels were actually from a mid 90's truck). Anyway i got paintball on them and i washed the paintball off but it satined the clearcoat on the wheels white. Its not a residue it actually stained the clearcoat. Does anyone know of a way to remove this stain? If so please help.

Help with stained wheels

This is a repost from another forum, but its not getting any replies there and I'm getting impatient. If anyone can help that would be great because my wheels look horrible. Thanks in advance

Have you tried and SOS pad. It takes the top little bit of the clear coat off, but not so much that you have to re-clear it. Another product that I have used is Never-Dull. It is not as abbrassive, but it sounds like you may need a more abrassive solution. Good luck.

I will try that, thank you. Also, is there anything i could just take the clearcoat off with, because it isw chipped in a few places, and the chipped places are alot shinier than the rest of the wheel.

You could try a high speed buffer with some polish. That might work, I have gotton stains off of mine that way.
If you want to remove the clearcoat, there are a couple of ways to do it. One is using oven cleaner. I saved some info on it, if I can find it I will post it.

Stain

Try a buff ball like Chip Foose uses, those things really clean and are very handy to have. The one Chip backs is sold by Mothers. It is called the Mothers Power Ball. You can try to Flitz the spot but the ball works very well.
