Some official business
I would like to get everyones opinion on the topic of chapter officers. Do you think we should elect officers or keep it a more casual thing. I'm not sure what kind of officers we would have maybe Assistant leader, secretary, treasure, and such. Let me know what everyone thinks.

As the chapter grows and starts to develop financial needs and growth, a treasurer will be necessary. Once events start to be planned, then a secretary will be needed. From there, it is as needed Originally, it was a requirement for the chapters, but at this stage, it isn't as critical, but there will be a time when it will need to be done.

At this time the only thing I can think of is maybe a treasurer to take care of any funds from people buying stuff from the chapter store. That being said since fellro set that all up and knows how to handle it I think he could fill this position if he was willing. I wasn't sure if having officers would help with increased involvement in the chapter.

Well, I would have to be a treasurer from afar, but it can be done. I will be working at least for a while a couple hours into Iowa, but since I am handling the account, I could just do it for now, and if it is a problem, we'll deal with it then.
