89 bronco fast back!

ok how hard is it to remove the stock cap and put in a fast back?

Matter of turning bolts and having friends to help muscle it off. Your 87 should be before the special bolts heads with the nipple thingy on 'em, so don't worry about that. Also, this subject has been talked to death here so do a forum search and you'll find loads of info. Have fun.

ok, i tried a search but didnt find alot but ill look again, but mine is a 89 so i guess ill have the crazy bolts?

Nope, you won't have to deal with "tamper-proof" Torx bolts unless you have at least a 92. The Big Bronco FAQ at the top of the forum tells how to remove the top from your truck. Thats why its in the Read First catagory.
