Hey gang, this will be the third thread Ive started in the last few days,so bear with Me for I apologize,Just trying to learn.Ive got the 2.3L4Cyl and I was curious to know if anyone knew of a a site that shows the Engine Layout,Ive got what is In my Owners manual that came with the truck but I was hoping to find something a bit more detailed.I.E,location of the Starter, and Things of that nature.Any Help again is VERY MUCH appreciated. You ALL are very helpful and considerate. This Forum is Excellent. The Moderator runs very swell boards here.
Autozone.com has a "part locater" that is pretty good. I don't know about a true engine diagram, you'd need a couple to see the different views.
What we need is a Flash movie that has the engine you can pivot around and click on various things. That would be AWESOME if somebody had the skills to make one for the four banger and both V6s.
get a haynes manual, they have pretty good info as to where stuff is. They are like the best 15$ part you can buy for your truck (well, maybe). Also, good idea rangerpilot, that would be sweet!
Please confirm the model year; I have a few manuals here. My other suggestion would be to look on ebay for a *real* service manual on DVD. If you keep your eyes open, you can land your hands on the same service information on DVD that Ford dealers use and for a very affordable price .
