Ahhh, I really miss finals. Of course, I wouldn't if I'd aim more carefully...

When I was in that situation, I'd let one of the pizza joints or the chineese joint do it for me

Ugh, its not fair cause college and homecooked meals are like polar opposites. Those looked like some tasty descriptions on the first page, how is deer? never had it, except for deer jerky I think.

I really like it, but I've grown up eating it. Sometimes it's a little tough, but not bad, and I don't really notice it being gamy. One of my favorite snacks is to fry some small steaks in a little flour, then eat it cold.

Mrs. Bear made a turkey tonight. I trimmed off the meat for sandwiches/leftovers, and wrapped the carcass and put it in the freezer for soup stock- ran out of time tonight.

Here's a really good and easy nachio dip:

1 lb ground beef or deer
1 large (I think it's a 2 lb) box velveta
1 large jar of HOT salsa

Brown the meat, add the cheese, then add the salsa. Heat until hot and serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
