No brake lights

I need suggestions, please.

I have a 75 f250 4x4, my turn signals work but I have no brake lights or emergency flashers. Have replaced both flashers, checked fuses. Taken off steering wheel and checked voltage at the flasher switch, fine. checked voltage at the brake switch behind pedal, fine.

Any words of wisdom is greatly appreciated

Did you check the brake switch to see if it is working?

check the fuse holder and make sure it has juice there, then check to see if there is juice at the 2 flashers.

Brake switch is working fine, I even took it off and ohm'd it to make sure contacts open and close.
Good juice at both flashers.

Thanks so much for your suggestions, any additional help is much appreciated.

Sounds like it has to be in the wiring then, I think it is the only thing left for you to check

OK well from the flasher it goes right up the column, check the wire colors on the flasher and find them on the signal switch plug and make sure you hae a good connection at the plug, if your still good there then the signal switch is NG.

I recently posted on this... found out there was an additional inline fuse not known about up under the dash (non factory,) as the connection on the back of the fuse block had corroded and even when I replaced the fuse it didn't work. The flashers and brake lights are on the same circuit, so other than that, I would suspect it to be the wiring. There is a good technical article on diagnosing this in the article section.
Good luck!
