Computer Problem or Not?
I recently bought my '99 F-350 PSD with 199,777 miles. I am trying to sort out some problems it came with. The speedometer reads about 10+ mph fast, The tach reads high and the fuel gauge light comes on and runs out at 1/4 tank. I think it is all stock. I read people try to keek RPM's under 2000 for fuel mileage but my truck shifts about 2300 RPM's if the tach is right and about 3000 RPM on the highway at 65 mph. I put larger tires on but the speedo should read slower not faster. I have fixed many little things already, this is next on my list. Could thid be computer related or all individual problems? Any solutions PLEASE? Thanks
