Exclamation Newbie has 1961 FORD F250 Unibody with ?

Hello Everyone. I am glad to have found this site. I have a 1961 Ford F250 Unibody. I need help decoding the Vin and maybe if anyone has help on getting Carfax if it goes back this far. I believe i am the second owner and i have the original owners manual and stuff. The truck is great! partially restored, Midnight blue, and I have just installed an entire brand new interior! (blue and White). It will be for sale soon, and I hope to show ya'll some photos real soon. Is the 1961 Ford F250 Unibody as rare as people tell me? Anyways, and help, comments or questions are greatly appreciated!
Robby

Thought I would include some additional info. It is the Original 6cylinder, only rebuilt cleaned up and painted to match the truck. It has the 3speed trans and AM Radio.

Robby welcome to FTE. Unibodies in general are getting rare. As far as an F100 over an F250 I couldn't tell you. The sought after things are the Custom Cab options like a big back window or extra chrome. The only difference between the 100 and 250 is heavy duty suspension and 8 lug wheels. Besides that you could get either optioned out the same way. I have to ask why do you want to sell when you just got it? Just curious, Rich.

I appreciate the Response! I actually have had the truck over a year, and I just found out about this site. This Truck is the Custom cab edition Unibody F250. It has all new front clip sheetmetal, and lots of misc other new parts. Interior is Gorgeous!

Hi Robby, Welcome to FTE The best truck show under the sun.

I think you already know what the VIN will tell you except maybe which plant it was built in. Carfax doesn't go back that far either. For a real value, I suggest that you have it professionally appraised.

Meanwhile, Pull up a chair and set a spell.
