Motor rebuild advice
I plan to rebuild the motor that is currently in the truck or get a junkyard motor and rebuild it. If I get a junkyard motor and rebuild it. I could take more time in the rebuild process because my truck would still be functional. If I get a differant motor, would it be to my advantage to try to get a 351w instead of a 302? Horsepower is not a real concern, but if I can spend about the same amount on a rebuild and get more power it would be nice.
After rebuilding the motor the only planned mods will be dual exhuast, electronic ignition,4bbl carb and intake.
Thanks for any advice.
Windsors are great in terms of Bang/Buck.
Good choice.
Did you happen to post this on the Engine re-building forum also?
There are a lot of smart guys on that forum.
