should I chip yet?

I was wondering if you guys think my truck is ready to be chipped or is there more that I need to do. I have a 2000 f-350 psd with 5" exhaust, wastegate disabled, kwik filter mod and gauges. I was thinking I would go with an edge product because I know someone who works for them and can get a good deal. I just want to be sure my truck is ready for the extra power.

Thanks

Sounds like your ready for more power. Just ask yourself honestly what will u be using it for? Beefing up the tranny to handle extra power is a good thing too like installing shift kits, extra cooling , an aftermarket T/C. things to consider.

looks like ya got everything you need to run safe. if you have an auto tranny maybe look at getting a sonnax tricumulator spring kit for the tranny other than that you should be perfectly fine.

Nope. Sounds like you're ready. Not that you can't do any other mods, but you've improved intake and exhaust breathing and have gauges to monitor the engine.

Have fun!!
