Quick nissan pickup question.

I had an 85 king cab. The thing was a TANK. I totaled it, bought it back from insurance for $500, and rebuilt it. Went for another 30,000 before I sold it at 117,000 miles. The next owner had it for over 2 years (til '93) then sold it to somebody else.
That was one tough motor coupled to a good truck. But I'm no fan of the newer ones, I got my F150 and never goin back.

I had a 87 Hardbody that I put 196K miles on and never turned a wrench on the engine. I replaced the starter and battery in the 11 years I drove it. I sold it to a friend who drove it until 224k miles and he replaced the clutch during that time.

Hi guys, i saw one for sale for 4x4 1,000 obo but needs clutch. it is ragged out of course but not rusted. Another is an 85 king cab 4x4 also needs clutch but only 700 bucks. How do they compare to toyota in in performance and gas mileage? How is the aftermarket compared to toyota? Thanks. Oh waht was gas mileage with yall's trucks? from what I heart hey tend to suck gas for a 4 banger. thanks yall.
