THANKS I'll change my oil to 10w30 dello 400 chevron, is my choice of oil.

 

I can't get anything other than rotilla 15w-40 out here in the sticks and it has been -35 F for the past week with highs aroung -8 F. Never had any trouble running the 15w-40 but I leave the truck plugged in at work and in the garage at night. Only once a week when the kids and I go skiing do I leave it out all day without being plugged in. Cycling the glow plugs twice and keeping them in good shape keeps the truck running fine even in this extream cold.

 

i should add that the schaeffers oil comsumption wasn't what i would call "critical" nor did we have any engines fail using their product. bryan

 

i say change it to some 10w-30 delo also. i love delo...
