How would I find out if my cruise control has been fixed through the recall? I went to myfordvehicles.com and entered my vin and it says no recalls for this vehicle. How do I know that this has been done, since I bought the vehicle less than a month ago?
Thanks again

Reason: If anyone has unlimitted Carfax report capability, I would really appreciate a report if possible. Thanks.
The only way to clear a recall is by a dealership when the work is done to the vehicle. A faster way is to look at the switch on the front of the master cylinder, if it has a fuse tied into the line going to the switch you are fine, also if it has a pigtail that looks newer than the line itself. If you purchased this vehicle from a Ford dealership after the recall came out they would have fixed it before they sold it to you. All a carfax will tell you is when the truck was in a shop last and it was in the shop when the dealership accquired the truck to do an inspection on it.
Its not on a wire, it plugs into the switch and the harness plugs into it. I took my truck in to get the fuse and being that I already changed the switch it couldnt be installed, although I think that the dealer is full of it.
