Chapter Leader

Thanks Fellro86 - I know just how active you are and we're proud of you!

I just currently won't be able to lead the chapter I helped found.

I can understand that all too well, just trying to help out so that maybe someone will come forward and keep it going. Unfortunately, even with activity, the chapter can be closed if there is no leader, but FTE tries everything they can before actually doing it. Guys, Ron is only able to do a small part of what is needed to be able to be a good active chapter. To be able to get more going, and grow, someone needs to be able to be able to take all the reigns and keep things moving forward.

No One?

No one in the chapter is willing to step up as Chapter leader? What a pity, maybe the site will lock this forum and someone will step up then. Such a pity.

I don't want to see new Ford truck enthusiasts to feel left out or have our IL chapter get locked out, either.
I would be interested in serving as a "Temp" Prez, till we could get someone else to serve in a permanent capacity.
I would like FASTRONALD, who has been very helpful to JOHN T, to help me serve the IL Ford truck owners in the CHicagoland area.
How do I get emails from the new members that join?
I will work to get them involved!!!

Unfortunately, the join requests aren't quite set up that way, in order to get them, you have to be installed as leader, which requires some programming effort of the FTE staff. However, perhaps you guys can work something out there on that aspect.

Currently...I recieve the join requests and have approved ALL who ask.

We need someone to take the role of Chapter Leader to get the Illinois Chapter in motion once again.

If you are interested, you should start a thread here asking for others interested in the Chapter leader position.

If no one else speaks up, then I would be happy to say you are our new Chapter Leader.

I would lend a hand as often and as best I can.

My interests have changed some and my Wife and I have elderly family members to look after nowdays.

Fastronald - Founding Chapter Leader.

my only complaint is that when we have a regular meeting and talk about it on this forum, only 4 people ever show up: Fairmount Bob, his bro,Brandon and me
John and Carol have come to a few and have made it known their free time is hard to come by because of work related isssues and distance from most of us in the Chicagoland area vs Southern Il (kankakee area)
I see many new IL members near me that say hello but never come out to meetings
I would be interested in being IL Prez, if I saw some real participation
what do I have to do???

Someone has to act fast..........................I can see the site locking the Chapter if nothing happens.

Such a shame after all our efforts in the past two years.

Carol and I would be interested in attending some Chapter meetings this summer, as long as they are held within a reasonable distance from the Kankakee area. With gas prices nearing $3 a gallon, I don't see going anywhere that is more than an hours' drive from here. Also, we plan on attending some cruise nites this summer in Oak Forest and Frankfort. As far as Chapter leader, I think Toyota hauler would be a good choice.
