Hello everyone,
I'm thinking on getting a pair of these Daystar polyurethane lifts with the lug extensions. I already have a 6 inches skyjacker lift undert my truck. My real question is: Will this set of 2 coil spacers only lift the front end of my truck? It might sound stupid but I think I read that somewhere. Please let me know.
Thanks
makes sense... To raise the back in order to level the truck... after the coil spacers installation... an extra spring leave on the back would be enough? Which one? How do I calculate final height before installation?
the parts he is talking about are some rubber blocks or the twist in kind. either one i would NOT put in a front suspension. The spacers that you are talking about a cool and i'm looking at them also. your shocks will be fine and you'll retain a factory ride quality.
I have seen coil spring boosters at AutoZone that go under the coil spring, gives it about 2 inches of lift. They claim not to change ride quality either. I bought my truck with the rear beefed up for hauling a horse trailer and the rear springs are really firm and has the truck up probally 5 inches higher than the front, to me that is to much. Has anyone used the type of coil shim I speak of?
These spacers will change the geometry of youe camber adjustment. You will need radius drop brackets for anything over about an inch or you will go through tires like no tomorrow. I am going through this now. I have adjustable camber bushings and they are maxed out and still not right.
