front coil question

front coil question
I was thinking of putting a leveling kit on my 87 f150 4x4 but my truck already seems pretty high. How can i be sure that the springs im buying arent the springs i already have on my truck? And any suggestions on how high the level kit should be...ive seen 1-2 in lifts and 3-4 in lifts

1-2 inch kits should bring the front level with the rear. The 3-4" kit is a lift.

ok thanks...how in depth is the installation of the springs? How much work is it?
