Symptoms- Come to a stop after driving for awhile (30 min plus) hit the accelerator and truck almost dies, sort of like it misses. No codes, no flashing lights. Almost like the t/c locks for a second. Truck has NOT died as of yet, and the CPS is only 9 months old. Fuel filter, oil, and all that is new, less than 500 miles on either. Transmission is only 2-3months old so I don't think it is that, however, I am open to suggestions. Predator is on the 60hp setting, in case anyone is wondering. Maybe the Accelerator pedal system?
Trans fluid level is fine. I set the truck back to stock and did not seem to have any problems after that. I really am starting to hate this Predator, seems to cause more problems than it is worth. I am pretty sure I will be going to a Jody chip after the 1st of the year and then use the Predator for codes and that's it. I will run it stock for a few days (yuck) and make sure the problem is gone and then make my final decision. In the mean time, I am open to any ideas you all might have...
Okay, so know this week it has started to stall the truck. It happened 3 times today, once when backing up, 2 when at a stoplight. Luckily the tranny is under warranty, but still. Anyone have ideas to this? similar situations in the past? just wondering if they will put a new t/c in or something like that? It will be going to the dealer Monday morning but I love to be armed with ammo before I walk through the doors. I love the look on their faces when you know more than they do! please, any suggestions will be valued greatly....

Having a tuner and it's features AND a Jody chip is an awesome combo! I just had Jody send me a whole PCM with the 80hp/150lb-ft flash...plug and play!... ...was about $250 with shipping.

If it's not the t/c maybe the 60hp Predator file is somehow corrupted?
Only $250?, thats an awesome deal. Did you supply the PCM? From what I have read he's the man. Looking forward to it, but need to get the tranny issues addressed before I start putting power to the ground again.
By the way, I have been running it stock to rule out the Predator, so it's got to be the tranny, I think...thanks for the suggestion though

Nope...he supplied the PCM. It's a lot less if u supply the PCM.
I still have the old one, it was still good. I could try it. It really feels like the t/c wont let go. i thought the cps would randomly shut off the motor, not stall it on acceleration.????

A CPS causes stalling and a T/C locking up would probably cause a lugging action before stalling the motor...no?
