If I were you I would pull the pcm back out and look at the traces where you cleaned them to put the chip in it. IF you went all the way to copper you may have gone a little to far. It might be that one of the traces has come loose from the solder and is touching another trace. I had one do that to me, when I put the chip in, it would push the traces together and then when I pulled the chip out the trace would straighten out, took forever to find out the problem, had to have the board resoldered.

Wow, I'll bet you were REALLY scratching your head on that one for a while.

LOL, your not kiddin, and it was on a 95 so the pcm was behind that bracket and the trace that was loose was on the thin side, so everytime I ran my finger down it to see if it was clean, I couldn't get all the way down on it to feel it move around.
ok I got her. Took the battery cables off and cleaned everything again...even though I did already for winter time. Made sure they were TIGHT and she started!!
Shut her off after a bit, took key out of ignition, plugged chip in.
Started back up in stock (Level 1) and drove around for a bit for temps to come up. Put on Level 2 (50hp) and OMFG!!! I have rode in a truck with the Juice module and my 50hp level feels like the Extreme (Level 5) on the Juice!!

Glad to hear you got everything straightened out PowerStrokeMe. I was worried you fried something (that's my luck).

What chip did you get?
Thanks, me too. Oh I know, I thought I did also. Thats my type of luck too.
I got the TS Performance 6 Position from ATS Diesel
1- Stock
2-50hp
3-75Hp
4-100hp
5-140hp
6- Anti-theft
Scott is awesome guy and helped out along with all you guys on my troubleshooting. I got the chip for $260 programmed.
Thanks PSNut ...oh yeah I was cruising tonight There is some black smoke on the lowest setting...which is a "cool look" factor but means I am not burning all my fuel but thats ok I guess. I am loosing traction pretty bad due to the streets being cold/slightly damp so you have to feather the pedal.
Next mod will probably be wicked wheel due to me hearing my compressor wheel stalling around 40mph in 4th gear. Its insane, I used to start building good boost around 1800rpm, now I am boosting good at 1500rpm or less Thats why I got the stock setting for when its snowy/icy out.
I found this chip also and am ready to buy. My only hesitation is I have a 6 speed and would like to hear from someone who uses this chip w/ a 6 speed. I ask this because my 1705 has made the truck nearly undriveable due to throttle response. I don't want to waste more $$$ on something I cant use.
BTW, I have a perfectly good 3 program 1705 for sale. Works great in auto tranny. Just wouldn't recommend for manual.

I have a 6 pos TS chip, with a 6 speed tranny. Yeah first gear is a little touchy and takes a bit to get used to if you drive with the chip turned up a lot, but its never really a problem. I love the 50 hp setting, on the highway i drive all day long in 6th gear and never shift down for any hill. Although i don't like shifting in the 140 setting, it does feel a little different, but i never use it anyway, too much fuel/smoke.
My truck is a 6 speed and I love it because I can control the power/boost...Ive only ran up to the 75hp level and theres quite a bit of smoke if you put your foot into it
Right on... I bought mine on a thursday night and it was at my door I think that following wednesday. So about 3-4 business days which isnt too bad with programming and UPS Ground
The throttle doesnt seem to be touchy on the lower settings...I havent got the nerve to raise it up to 100 or 140...I want to save my stock clutch with 175k on it. You only have to give it 1/4 and she boosts at 1500 rpm and goes! Might want to get the wicked wheel too...mine stalls pretty bad at the max torque rpm (16-1800)
Thats my next mod! Im so glad I have a manual...dont have to worry about beefing up the tranny unlike an auto! If you have an auto I would get the Sonnax valve kit.....do a search and find out about it....Strokin_it 7.3 put the kit on his truck and many other guys.
I posted pics in my gallery if you want to take a look.
