AIRBAG Code
I recently removed my instrument panel (heater core replacement) had to remove the passenger side airbag. After putting all dash parts back including the bag, i turned on the truck and the bag was making a beeping sound, I turned off the ignition, saw I forgot to connect the electrical blocks in the driver side 'kick panel' Restarted it, no beeping but now the panel light is flashing me 5-2 three or four times then stays on.
Did I damage the bag? What does the code mean, how do I turn it off, is this a dealer only thing.

I almost hate to ask but it is a common thing that does happen....did you disconnect the battery between the beeps and connecting the block on the kick panel? May have triggered something when you turned it on without the block plugged in and now the puter needs to be reset. disconnect battery for about 10 minutes then connect and try again.

im not sure about a 5-2 flash out, but a 2-5 flashout means that your passenger air bag deactivtion switch has a problem. if you have pulled your dash, check the deactivation switch in the center of the dash...make sure its plugged in!
