Question Tires Causing Brake Problems???

At work, we've got an 02 F250 7.3L 4x4, with a set of Goodyear Wranglers (not exactly sure what size....they are bigger than normal, but not big enough to require a lift). The tires have been on the truck for almost a year, and shortly after we put the tires on, we had a complete front brake job done. Its been almost a year since the brake job, and the truck still grinds a little and squeals, and there is a ton of brake dust. The local mechanic says the truck needs new rotors.

Could the tires be causing the problems, or is it just faulty brakes.

Thanks.

Sounds to me like the last brake job you had done they put cheap pads on. I would Turn rotors, and install top quality pads. I put some of those ceramics on my car and now no dust. Be sure to break in your new pads for long life.

I put larger tires on my 01 F-250 and destroyed the brakes on it. I also had 4wd problems after I put the big tires on. I traded it in for my 05 F-350 and although the Conti's S#@% I am leaving them on till someone makes the stock size. The dealer wouldn't fix the drivetrain under warentee after i put the big tires on.
