Congrats on 500 posts, BTW.

I have bought 6 different rigs from the same dealer. 1 of those rigs I had not set up the deal, but felt they took advantage of the person doing the buying. This dealership redid the deal and quoted a honest mistake on their part in not knowing who the buying party was. The second rig, they did not give me the quoted rebates and I called them on it and once again they redid the deal. I guess what I am saying mistakes are made and everyone should do their best to fix the problems. Plus if you treat them fair, you might get a better deal in the future.
If I read this right, You did offer to split the difference. I think that is fair and a good way to answer. Dealer was probably glad for a postive answer and said, "hey, lets just eat this"
Bottom line, great customer, good dealer!
Glad you got your King Ranch
