What do you expect? The Mustang has been in production a long time so I guess GM figures it's best to copy something that is a proven seller. That's just my opinion.

I'd agree with the "no plans for a new Camaro" thing, except someone posted pics of a car on a few different websites and GM hunted them down and had them pulled. Draw your own conclusions.
The new Challenger should be seen at this years' auto show circuit. Too bad it's a MoPar- doesn't look bad at all.

I like it, it looks ok to me. I would imagine that would be the styling by 2009. I would take a GM product over Ford any day, and anything over a Dodge. Especially the 'vette over 'stang.
I agree that does look Photoshopped, but if GM is around pulling them out, it may well be close to their images if they do choose to bring it back. Smart move for them.

Why would one make such a blanket statement. GM, Ford and MOPAR each makes the best product in some segments of the market. I've chosen 15 new vehicles over the years (all but 1 company vehicles) and my choices have been pretty evenly spread depending on what was avaiilable at the time. I've had both good and bad vehicles with all the brands (early 80s GM products were the worst). If I was buying (without regard to price)a full size SUV, it would be GM, if I was buying a gas powered pick-up or small SUV, it would be a Ford but if I wanted a mini-van or a diesel pickup, I would buy a Dodge. HOwever, I generally buy based on the best deal for a good vehicle so the price usually wins out (doesn't have to be the cheapest but the best value).

osbornk,
You couldn't be more right. No matter what people say, each brand has the edge over another in one aspect or another. I'm the same as you. When it comes to my preference on brand, it depends on the vehicle. For an SUV, I'd go with GM, for a muscle car or regular car, I'd say Dodge/Chrysler, and for a heavy duty truck it would be Ford or Dodge.
