axle id

hey there, any chance u could give me a hand figuring mine out?
i have 2
1st wfeac6mc l259395b thats in a 77 supercab, im pretty sure its a 9" ford rear

2nd wdmcg8gd 759360a thats a 79 f150, again pretty sure its a 9"ford

i dont know if either is oem

i am building a 351m to almost stock to go in the f150 and want the better gears in it also

Where did this info come from? Is it off the tags on the axles?

Can you arrange the numbers /letters the way THEY APPEAR on the tag.
ie:

WDM ?? ??
3.00 9 ?? ??

i had some1 read the tags off to me, i will go under today and get them in the right order. yup they r axle tags

the 1979 f150 is
WDM-CG 8GD
2 75 9 360A

i figure its a 9" with 2.75, what all can be told from this tag?

next is the 77 supercab
WFE-AC 6MC
3L25 9 395B

ok now this 1 has me puzzled any help would be great

This axle is a Locking 3.25:1 9"

The other number/letters are about plant of manufacture
codes for bearings,axles,etc

hey there
thanks alot im gonna pull the 3.25locker rear out. paint it, brakes and new lines. are there any bearings or seals i should change before installing?

any way to tell if its 28 or 31 by the tag?

If they aren't leaking or making a Noise it would be a personal choice.
