My cable seems to be blinding fast, once it starts to download. They've added more people on the line over the years and I've noticed something like a "Q" effect. Say, I click on a link and it might take a few seconds to start, then it everything just pops. Does that make sense?

It's kind of like this: I have a half hour for lunch. I quit going to Wendy's, because it takes 20 minutes to get my food after I order. I start going to Mickey D's, because they say my order gets to me in under a minute. Then I get there and have to wait in line for 20 minutes before I can order.

I was one of the first to get cable in my neighborhood, and total download speed was really fast then. Not so fast now. I know I'm not paying more for greater speed - on paper. I think it's a smoke and mirrors thing. My speed tests haven't changed much, but I can notice the difference.
