My 89 Bronco was having a idle problem, it would idle at 1800 and when you dropped it in gear about 1100. Read the posts in here about this problem and put a new gasket on the plenium, changed the TPS, cleaned the throttle body, and changed the EGR. Bronco drives better than ever before so quiet and smooth can't hear it run.Tested the TPS like greystreak said and sure enough was showing almost 2 volts when closed and almost 5 when open. TPS was the major culprit but decided to go with the other suggestions and feel like I have a new Bronco. Just wanted to say Thanks to all of your ideas and Thanks for the Website.
