Tire question

Couple of tire questions:

1. Just put on Wildcat All-Terrain 31 x 10.5LT. What tire pressure should I be running with basic daily driving. 45 psi seems to make a pretty harsh ride. Is it okay to lower to about 35 and not suffer from uneven wear?

2. Will a 31 x 10.5 spare fit on the factory inside spare bracket on a 1992?

Thanks,
Biederboat

I used to run 45 psi, I was running Michelin LTX AT's that were 31-10.5. It wasn't all that bad and I had shock probs as well. You will have a better ride with 35lbs, on long trips I would jack the pressure up to 40-45 if that's what the sidewall says, it helped with milage. Yes they will fit in the inside spare, a buddy had 91 and he put is 31 in there.

Unless you tow or carry a heavy load, you shouldn't put more than 40 psi into a 10.50" wide tire on a Bronco. Not only the ride will be harsh, you will also have less traction, especially on wet roads.
