How blue are you?

Here is the vehicles I have owned (1st to present)

1-79 Trans Am with 403, T400, 10bolt posi(the cam bearing
ended up in the oilpan).
2-87 Trans Am with 305, 700R4 Dart heads, roller rockers,
Accell plenum & runners, 1000cfm throttlebody, NO2
(when through 3 stock 700R4, bought a TCI turbo350
with 3500 stall, manual valve body & reverse shift
pattern then got rid of it all).
3-77 Honda Civic hatchback, hi performance cam & header &
slotted mags (must admit it was an awesome car, virt-
ually unstoppable on or off road.
4-68 Chevelle 350 2spd (sold that & it got turned into a
stock car).
5-79 Bronco 351M C6 9" (I put a nice cam, aluminum intake,
625 Carter carb, K&N Filter, Detroit locker in 9", a
4" lift with 35" Mud Kings).parted out truck, man I
really miss this one.
6-87 mustang 2.3l 5spd.
7-89 F250 4X4 5L 5spd (damn Mazda tranny)Centerforce clutch
MSD coil,Accell cap & rotor, 3" flowmaster exhaust from
y pipe through high flow cat,K&N filter, splitfire
plugs, 8mm Taylor wires)

Never had a Ford leave me stranded(the GM's all did).

Rich, have you driven under a Ford lately?

How blue are you?

Well, not very blue at all, considering this is my first Ford. I owned a Mercury a few years ago. I'm a bargain sucker and will always look for the best bargain, not limiting myself to the name on the fender or the color or the engine size, ect., ect., ect. I'll tell you this, I am extremely happy to have come across my '84 baby blue F150!!!! I love her.

Well, the original question was "How Blue Are You?" I notice a lot of people answered by listing every vehicle they've ever owned, but I thought we should preserve the original flavor of the thread and stick to Fords only.

BTW, notice that you don't recognize a lot of the posters names? And notice the post dates? This thread started in the last century!

So, to get the ball rolling again:

In addition to my four current Ford trucks (3 Rangers and a '72 F250) I have had:

'88 Mustang coupe (Ex-CHP)
'88 Mustang GT Convert. (I wish I'd kept this one. No thanks to my cousin for embezzling 75 grand from the family business)
'72 Ranchero GT
'73 Ranchero 500
'72 Torino Race car (Enduro class)
'67 Mustang/'95 T-bird hybrid race car (Late Model class)
'71 Mercury Capri Race car (Mini-stock class)
'71 Mercury Capri
'76 F250 4x4
'57 F100 (The Deathmobile...FE 406 and a bad steering box)
'60 Mercury Comet (bought at age 13 for 50 bucks)

That's all I can think of at the moment. -TD

On Edit: I see this came up in the wrong forum. I guess that can happen when pulling something this old out of the archives. We'll see if we can get this moved where it belongs...

i guess i would consider myself red-blooded- first ride was a honda cr 60- currently have half a dozen of them. The only truck i've ever owned or my dad has ever owned have all been fords. (all three- dads FIRST set of wheels was a 68 f-150, now he has a 78 150, and my first truck is a 70 f250). So what color do you get when you mix red and blue?

Well i've only been driving for 7 years now, but i've had my share of Fords, or ford products anyway. Lets get the list started.

Had:
76 F100 Explorer - Best truck i've ever owned, bar none. Took everything a teenager could throw at it and then some.
85 Mercury Marquis - The midsize LTD-II like car. Nice, had a very potent v6 when i was done with it, ignition finally did it in though.
91 Mustang - Didn't keep it long, it got sideswiped 18 hours after i bought it.
82 F-150 - Second best i ever had, had my favorite engine too 300 BB6!
89 Lincoln Town Car - My First LTC, nice car, too many problems.
87 Ranger - Totalled this one out after about 6 months.
79 Lincoln Continental Mark V - A nice ride none the less...boy what a yacht!

Have
89 Lincoln Town Car - This one is much better than the first, one of the better ones i've had
82 F-100 - Almost the last in a long line of trucks with the F-100 designation.

When it comes to my Fords, i can say i bleed Ford Blue...
