How blue are you?

I'm reposting them here, just curious of the color of the blood that flows in your veins. I am sure that there are people here, who only drive fords.

How blue are you?

Let's see..... 1967 F100, 1998 Escort, 1993 Escort, had a 1985 Aerostar until the end of
summer (sold it to a friend), in the process of looking at buying either a Focus with the ZTec engine or a top of the line Ranger.

How blue are you?

You just want me to tell you how old I really am don't you?
I learned to drive my first Ford in about 1st or 2nd grade. It was a Ford-Ferguson, I had to stand on the starter button to get it to start. I'd take milk cans a mile up the road in the morning and leave them there, where I'd catch the bus for school. At night I'd pick up the empties and drive back home. I was only allowed in 1st gear at half throttle. Ford's have always been the one constant thread that has run through my life. I've always had one and always will. For durability you can't beat'em. The only one that's ever left me walking is the one I have now, and that's only because it doesn't have a gas gauge.

How blue are you?

I've owned a "couple" of cars so far (not always Ford) but my list of Fords so far:
1960 Falcon, 62 Ranchero 170 6cyl. 3 spd., 64 Falcon Sprint, 84 Turbo Coupe, numerous Mustangs while I and a partner owned and operated "Mustang Specialities" in Portland Or. for 2 years, 69 Ford Bronco, 69 Ford F250, 78 Ford F250, and currently a 1989 F250. My fastest Ford with the worst milage: one 1978 Ranchero (highly modified) 514 Cu. in., TFS alum. heads, 1050 Holley Dominator, 4.56 gears, 14" wide slicks, 9.57 seconds @ 140 MPH in the quarter mile.

How blue are you?

I'll start with the present and go back.
*denotes still owned
*1992 F-250
*1970 Lund Tiee with a 302 I/O
1983 Ford LTD ll (sold at 125000)
1975 Toyota Celica (I always wanted one; sold at 130000)
1970 VW Baja... So much fun to build!
*1950 Ford F-1 Still Working on it
1984 Honda Intercepter... Still like a fast Jap Bike
1977 Ford Maverick 4-door
1973 Opal Ascona (Was in Germany, it was cheap And the first "my Own" car)
1958 Nash Metropaultian (parents owned, I drove) It's my next major project
I get my ford blood from My dad, Who is on his 4th or 5th ford f-250. Mom's current driver is a Tarus, she tried a renault (it burned up after the dealer had it washed to be resold) and a Dodge shadow (It too caught fire, My brother-in-law, who is a Fire captian, Put it out. Then mom found out if they had let it burn just a bit longer, it would have ben totaled... Befor that it was "my LTD" and a Ford Fairmont. The worse problems have all been with the Non-fords for my parents, except for the trans missio9n on my dad's current truck.
Hey Ken, On my "Tried True and Ford Blue T-shirt", how come the trucks are red?

How blue are you?

Ford Blue comes from the famous Ford color. The red trucks are because the 1948 F1 was introduced in red and the 50th anniversary F150 was the same color red.

Hi Kilroy, I can't tell you much about the car...
I bought it in Portland, Or. around 1978 and moved
it and my family to White Salmon, Wash. shortly after I aquired it. It was a 260, 4 spd, black with black interior. I never did check to see what the butt gears were. I sold the car in that area within the first year of being there. Deen
