Going for recall work
The splorer is going in tomorrow for recall work. They are doing the reclining seat bolt and the cruise cable. What ticks me off is they won't do the tensioner work. The recall in Canada is 6 years or 72000 miles, and I am 6 months past the recall date.
Guess I'll have to find a warm shop to do the work myself.
The thing that makes no sense is the recall says to ("replace the tensioner only if there is noise or a CONCERN"). Whose concern, mine or Fords. A recall should be a recall without a time limit shouldn't it or conditions about a concern.
