Power Door Locks
Is it a very big deal to change the power door lock actuator on a 2000 SD. I had the passenger side fail under warranty now the driver side is craping out.

I did all of mine after reading up on this site. Check the tech pages - there is an excellent write-up (with photos for those of us who are slow 
).
But to answer your question, no - not a difficult job. The first one took me about an 1.5 hours (I was working slow and carefully). The rest took about 45 minutes each- but I think they could be done easily in 1/2 hour if I had done them all at the same time. Instead, I did them slowly over time which meant my learning curve nearly started over each time - but it did spread out the cost nicely.
