Guys, I'm new to the list as of a couple days ago. First let me say that I think this site and the folks who participate in it are great. Thanks to anybody and everybody responsible for making it work. My question is:
I want to convert a carbureted 460 to fuel injection. The engine is completely disassembled and is being built from the ground up. It was originally a '70 or '71 429, but I don't know what it came out of. I would prefer to use sequential injection (SEFI) instead of throttle body (TBI). Did Ford ever equip any 460 powered vehicle with SEFI? What would be involved with swapping in the computer out of a 5.0 Mustang? Depending on how large an air flow the MAF sensor of computer in the 5.0 can interpret, I would think the swap would be possible. Any ideas? I have lots of other information/questions if anybody wants to talk about it.
