I'm a first time builder of a large block 460. The engine & head numbers are D1VE-6015-A2B, using these heads and block what would be a good lowend cam for a really fast off the line hotrod. It is going in a 1953 panel truck custom that I am rebuiling. If the oringal crank is useable I'm going to reinstall it, any suggustion no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.

This is not the proper forum for your question... why don't you scroll down to the bottom end of the forum list and post your question in the "Performance, Hot-rodding, and General Engine Building" forum...

Thanks for your cooperation! :-)

Or you could post it in the 460 section. But its good to see someone actually putting a FORD engine into their old Ford. Instead of one of those silly ones with the distributor in the back!

People who say it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
