I have had 2 sets of BFGs, and they were good, but for the same handling and similar wear, I would say SSRs. They make the BFGs look like all seasons. They aren't very noisy, either.
From my own expierience i have to say gummbo mudders. There exelent in mud and relitively quite on the street. If you like narrow tires then buckshots are the way to go
at's are street tires, m/t's are all terrains....i prefer bfg mt's if you want something that can easily last over 50k....ssr's embarass the bfg's off road, but last about half as long, yet they are quiet
Have you looked at Hankook the Dynamic M/T RT01 is a good all around mud tire I would personally stay away from the Mud King made by Cavalier they are JUNK. The Firestone Destination M/T is another decent tire.
I have to agree A/Ts are more of a street tire than a offroad tire they just get plugged up with mud they turn into a racing slick.
i would like to have some fat tires. (wide) what would be some good wide offroad tires??
mickey thompson baja claws! they will last you forever and come in a very wide (15.50) stance. they aren't that great offroad but with your requirements you dont have many choices.
