new gps, now controller acting weird
Then this morning, (saturday) I went to start it and when I turned the key there was no wait to start light. So I turned the key off and on, still nothing. I left the key on for about 10 seconds, then cranked. It took about 10-15 seconbds of cranking then it fired up. Then this afternnon leaviong the jobsite, It did the same thing. No wait to start light. After I got home, i tried again just to see and the light worked.
I think when the truck is really cold, the controller is not working porperlly. Is this possible? Or could the relay be not working when cold? Tommorrow Im going to put a meter on it and see. Any suggestions or ideas would be great.
I think he covered all the bases.
Visit http://www.members.shaw.ca/k2pilot/ and read about GPs and the problems.
Reading Ziggsters site for the umpteenth time, as you have suggested, yields little information about my problem, rather about controll bypass and GP removal procedures. Obviouslly the latter of the two is not a problem (seeing as I have replaced them already with no probs. as my post states) and althought a bypass setup would be a caveman triumph for my problem, I would much rather use everyones insight to tackel and conquer this issue and return my rig to its oem working condition. If I am wrong for not understanding you refrence to Ziggsters site (however great it is), I apologize, but I cannot find any info on the site that really pertains to my situation.
I imagine it is a controller/relay problem, which I hope to figure out soon.
Thanks for anyones help and suggestions.
Clint
