I have read all data concerning this issue on this site. I visualized the exhaust system today, to estimate the repair labor. Noticed on the drivers side exhaust,
after the flange connect with engine output, there is a clear opening by design on the outside bend, as the pipe drops and turns to connect to the passenger side connection to go to muffler. There are two bolts holes that looks like there was a shield cap or something bolted on here at 1 point. Any suggestions? This is not the space for the front side o2, that is still in place, this gap is after this. This is clearly not a rust through or any other gap by deterioration. Any ideas?
Is this allowing 'outside' air in, causing my 'out of range bank 1 error?'
