Help!!! We are being told by several mechanics that no one is making front rubber hoses for a 1978 f/150. I refuse to believe this. Can anybody help us here???
Thanks for the info. I forgot to mention that the 78 is a 4x4. I see that autozone lists them. I guess the chevy mechanics in this neighborhood don't keep up on things, and as usual there isn't that much call for Ford mechanics --- anywhere. What little needs to be done on our Fords we can do ourselves.
I checked with the local NAPA store and they claim that they can get them --- 2-3 days.
My 79 f150 is 4wd and auto zone had them on the shelf when I bought them. The pass side one is 20.00 and the drivers side is less.Money well spent and very easy to replace yourself.
