sound deadener

what do yall think is the best sound deadener i can put in my truck?

Dynamat works awesome. I bought a roll of it and used their roller and a heat gun and it came out really good.

You may want to look into "B-Quiet". A friend did his car and it turned out nice. It's cheaper and about the same as Dynamat.

I think it depends on how much money you want to spend, and what type of stereo system you'll be using. I used Dynamat Extreme on the firewall area and went with cheaper stuff on the rest of the cab's interior. http://www.fatmat.com/404.htm The fatmat is not as thick as the dynamat, but is pretty darn close. If I was to do it all over again, I'd use the fatmat.
