I recently bought this truck, it has a 4 inch lift, it drives fine in the two wheel mode. However when it is put into four wheel drive I get a vibration about 12-15 mph and can't find a problem. I've checked the hubs, drive shaft for in phase, all the u-joints and still can't come up with the answer if you can help me I'd appreicate it, THANKS 1979 f150 short box

What should the pinion angle be at the front axle with a 4" lift? How do I have it checked? Is a double cardan cv joint needed? If I must replace the 'c' bushings,what degree do I install? 2,4,or 7 degree? Vibration is most noticed at 12 MPH,even if the truck is running in gear on jacks(tires removed).Could a front axle u-joint cause a significant vibration,yet feel tight (without removing it)?
