Great site! I'm still learning my way around! I have a 2002 F350 4x4 x-cab diesel. I'm probably going to ask alot of advice around here so please bare with me! So far I need advice on what's best on tires for dual wheel trucks? I've always ran Michelin LTX M/S. A little $$.. Everyone always have said to run these because of tread life. I have 76000mi on this truck and I'm on set 3. I do alot of towing equipment and was wanting to know is it worth the extra $$ for Michelin or just save $$ and go to a B.F. Goodrich tire?? I hope I post this in the right place... If not, please forgive me!!! I'll do better!!!!

Three sets in 75k? That makes my 2 sets of Goodyears in 87k (6 years) look good. I still wasn't satisfied though.
I switched to Toyo Open Country A/T's. They balance better (tighter production tolerances), have excellent traction for an A/T, are Load Range E, and cost 20% less than the Goodyears.
In your case I would avoid the BFG's. They ride hard due to the formula and traction in snow & mud is horrible because the tread blocks don't "clear". It's an old design using smaller blocks whereas the Goodyear ATS and the Toyo's use larger tread blocks and sipe them.
