I purchased a home off highway 169 about 5 miles north of Elk River. We are moving from Michigan a load at a time. The first load was my 56 F100 street rod that now resides in a Big Lake storage unit. I am probably crazy to try moving in the winter, but sometimes there is no other way. We move into the house around the middle of January. I'll be looking forward to finding a good 53-56 F100 club in the Minneapolis area to share bench racing stories with and good times. Got to finish loading the Haulmark trailer with tools, and such so I can make another trip this weekend.
Rangerxlt02, I am probably a lot closer than 7 miles, I am about 5 miles north of the Harley dealer in Elk River. Today is the first time that we have had internet since early December. Moving in the winter could have been a lot worse that it was this year.
The last few years have been easy. Which leads you to say that next year we will get what we have comming. But it hasn't really happened yet. Eventually it will. Welcome to MN BTW. I used to go through Elk River on 169 every day on my way to the cities. Now I work in Monticello so I don't even have to get near 169. I am about a half hour north just past Princeton a little bit.
