I went to the parts store last night to get cylinders and shoes, but found out there are two different sizes. Is there any way to tell which ones I have without pulling them, and taking them to the parts store?
Well, I've had the drum off, and looked at them. I even looked at the two different ones at the parts store. The two different sizes at the parts store had a slightly different casting where the bleader valve bore is (but appeared to fit the same hole in the back of the drum), and one was about 1/16"-1/8" longer, but I wouldn't count on either of those to identify it. I didn't see a part number on the ones on the truck, so... again, is my best bet to just take a cylinder and shoe with me to the parts store? Even then how do you identify which is which, when they appear to be the same casting? Or is that little big of difference in the castings what I need to use to identify them?
